Job summary

West Shore is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our apartment community in Savannah, GA. You will handle a wide range of maintenance and repairs under supervision, applying advanced trade skills to keep units and common areas in excellent condition.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage, benefits, paid time off and ongoing training. You’ll respond to emergencies, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete work orders efficiently.

Qualifications

• Advanced trade experience in maintenance

Responsibilities

• Make ready units for new move-ins
• Perform grounds work and basic landscaping
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects and work orders
• Perform minor electrical repairs and fixture replacements
• Perform minor plumbing repairs and leak fixes
• Paint, carpentry and masonry tasks as needed
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems
• Diagnose issues, replace parts and test
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance
• Read equipment manuals to perform service
• Respond to emergencies when needed
• Maintain safe, clean work areas
• Support additional tasks as assigned
