Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Maintenance Technician for one of our apartment communities. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly salary, training, and advancement opportunities within a promote-from-within culture.

You will perform comprehensive maintenance, from make-ready units to HVAC and minor electrical/plumbing tasks, with a emphasis on safety and efficiency. Flexible hours and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technicians with skilled advanced trade experiences.
• HVAC certification and ability to diagnose and repair systems.

Responsibilities

• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Perform grounds work and light landscaping.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects and work orders.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance (fixtures, wiring).
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (leaks, lines).
• Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry tasks.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems as needed.
• Diagnose problems and replace parts.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals for service.
