Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across property upkeep and repairs. The role covers daily maintenance tasks, vacancy readiness, and preventative maintenance, with focus on safety and process improvement.

The ideal candidate has HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, strong supervisory experience, and the ability to work with various tools. On-call availability and collaboration with managers are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge required.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending for service, housekeeping/custodial or grounds personnel.
• Assist in training of service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Take initiative to improve processes and maintenance methods.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions; 24-hour service response.
