Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily property maintenance operations, guide a maintenance team, coordinate repairs, manage vendor relationships, and ensure safety and quality standards for residents.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and hands-on facilities management to sustain high-quality living environments across properties in the Puget Sound area.

Qualifications

• One-year college certificate or 3–6 months of related training/experience.
• Proven leadership skills with maintenance team supervision.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and technical documents.
• Physical ability to perform inspections and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and equipment to determine service needs and staffing.
• Assign and oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations; obtain bids.
• Direct contracted projects to meet specs and quality.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Plan, track, and manage maintenance department budget.
• Maintain records of labor, materials, and costs; prepare cost reports.
• Review and recommend contractor bids for approval.
• Support upkeep including cleaning and unit turnovers.
• Attend regular meetings and training sessions.
• Promote safe work practices and address safety concerns.
