Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical work across the community, ensuring the buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks for leasing, inspect contractors, manage inventory, and support safety programs in a fast-paced residential setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accept and complete work orders; diagnose defects and repair per policy and code.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units; inspect and schedule needed work.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas; ensure high quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory; assist budget planning; support cost-control measures.
