Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and ensure properties are well-maintained and safe. You will oversee maintenance staff, plan preventive work, and coordinate with the Community Manager to meet budgets and service standards.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, leadership to guide staff, and the ability to respond quickly to service requests. A valid driver's license and English communication are essential for day-to-day site operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks.
• Leadership skills and ability to work with customers/residents.
• Basic HVAC knowledge; obtain CFC certification within 90 days.
• Experience: 1 year as Maintenance Supervisor or 3 years as Technician.
• Valid driver's license and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager with hiring, inspecting, counseling, promoting and staffing as directed.
• Teach skills to staff members.
• Schedule work.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep common areas safe, in repair and clean.
• Perform preventive maintenance for pools, parking lots, exteriors, etc.
• Make Capital improvement recommendations.
• Respond to all service requests within 24 hours.
• Visit competing properties and inspect maintenance quality.
• Order parts to repair community.
• Educate staff on safe working conditions and OSHA guidelines.
