Job summary

CRM Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventive maintenance across a portfolio of properties and to supervise maintenance staff. You will coordinate emergency coverage, inspect facilities, and ensure timely completion of work orders while managing inventory and the maintenance shop.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of supervisory experience, and familiarity with boilers or appliance diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position.
• 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
• Experience working with boilers or appliance repair/diagnostics is preferred.
• The position requires effective oral and written communication skills.
• Maintains current license/certificate and/or specialized skills in at least one of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection or mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation and close supervision of the preventive maintenance system and upkeep of buildings and equipment.
• Provide coverage for emergency situations and coordinate absences with the Community Manager.
• Inspect buildings and grounds and communicate deficiencies to the Community Manager.
• Supervise Maintenance Technicians and other maintenance staff.
• Ensure prompt completion of repairs and update the master work order log.
• Manage maintenance shop, supplies, and project vehicle.
