Job summary

CRM Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across multiple properties. The role carries responsibility for preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and keeping facilities in top condition. On-call duties and coordination with the Community Manager are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum education requirements.
• 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Experience with boilers or appliance repair/diagnostics preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Licenses/certifications in building trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection or mechanical) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and supervise preventive maintenance to preserve and upkeep buildings and equipment.
• Provide coverage for emergencies and coordinate absences with the Community Manager.
• Inspect buildings and grounds; report deficiencies to the Community Manager.
• Supervise Maintenance Technicians and other staff; guide and direct as needed.
• Ensure prompt completion of repairs and log updates on the master work order log.
• Maintain inventory and control of tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Oversee maintenance shop and project vehicle; manage vendor bids and purchasing.
• Assist with budget preparation and operating plans; participate in inspections and audits.
• On-call duties for emergencies; travel time included when working.
