Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, quality GMP and company policies and procedures.
• Participate in plant staff, shift and safety meetings; conduct departmental trainings.
• Develop methods to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Maintain contact with Engineering on improvements to machinery and systems.
• Control maintenance budget and identify root causes to reduce unnecessary purchases.
• Train and develop shift personnel to meet department goals.
• Meet with vendors and plant visitors; travel may be required up to 25%.
