Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Maintenance Manager at the Valley Structures site in Valley, Nebraska. You will lead a team focused on keeping production assets reliable and safe, planning, scheduling and executing maintenance activities to support SQDC goals.

You will supervise about 2 direct and 35 indirect reports for 24/7 operations, partner with Operations, Lean and Safety, and drive continuous improvements in uptime, efficiency and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience or Associates Degree with 8+ years relevant experience or Bachelors with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Must possess demonstrated engineering, mechanical, electrical and technical aptitude.
• Must be familiar with basic plant and auxiliary equipment and safety, operational and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance department operations for 24/7 site coverage.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to meet SQDC targets.
• Plan, schedule, and direct staff in maintenance of production areas and equipment.
• Manage budgets, capital projects, and contractor work.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state safety and environmental regulations.
