Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance teams across apartment properties. The role includes directing technicians and porters, supervising repairs, and ensuring high standards of upkeep. Responsibilities also cover make-readies, inspections, and adherence to safety procedures.

The position requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel between properties, and EPA certification within six months. Competitive hourly pay with bonus potential is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED - technical training certifications a plus.
• Three years of oversight of maintenance buildings and team members.
• Requires a valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and the ability to travel between properties.
• EPA certification required within six months of employment (provided by Pennrose).

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative work each morning (approx. 30 minutes) as assigned by PM or Support Center.
• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made promptly using the company's mobile maintenance app.
• Lead maintenance staff; diagnose problems and perform repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances.
• Oversee make-ready process and turn units within five business days of move-out.
• Prepare for inspections and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Assist in budgeting for repair and capital expenses; travel between properties as needed.
