Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all facility equipment operates efficiently and to identify improvements in maintenance practices. The role includes overseeing preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring safety standards are met across shifts.

You will manage maintenance staff, partner with production leadership, and uphold regulatory and environmental compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics; English maintenance literature must be understood.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action by referencing blueprints, schematics, repair manuals and parts catalogs.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and related control systems.
• Perform and manage preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
