Job summary

Essex Property Trust in Bellevue, WA currently seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations and staff. You will manage the property budget to improve NOI, supervise repairs, and ensure a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents.

You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and respond to after-hours emergencies. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing is required, along with OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

HVAC knowledge and hands-on repair experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong organizational skills.
Experience supervising 2+ associates and coordinating with contractors.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct a team of maintenance technicians; assign tasks and ensure quality.
Perform and oversee repairs on property systems and equipment.
Respond to work orders and prioritize maintenance requests from residents.
Implement preventive maintenance and conduct regular property inspections.
Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and building codes; manage budget and spend.
