Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance professional to ensure the community's buildings, grounds, and amenities meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and manage the make-ready process for move-ins, coordinating with vendors and inspecting work for quality.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service with residents, and adherence to budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and operate them safely.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Read, write and communicate to support department operations.
• Proficiency with basic computer and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical work to maintain buildings and common areas.
• Handle work orders from resident requests and diagnose issues.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Inspect work by service teams and contractors for quality and safety.
• Assist in budgeting and cost-control for repairs and capital projects.
• Uphold Greystar safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance.
