Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team and ensure all units and common areas meet Hawthorne’s quality standards. You will oversee preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and manage vendor relationships to uphold safety and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus strong leadership to train and develop staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in apartment maintenance or skilled trade; supervisory preferred.
• EPA certification required; CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise the daily work of the maintenance team, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Foster a team culture rooted in excellence, integrity, and the Live It values of kindness, connection, and service.
• Supervise vendor partners, ensuring work is completed timely, safely, and to company standards.
• Manage capital improvement projects, including obtaining bids, scheduling, and overseeing successful project execution.
• Proactively identify and resolve service needs throughout the community.
• Maintain and execute quarterly preventative maintenance programs to protect the asset.
