Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, manage daily tasks, and ensure move-in ready apartments. You will oversee budgets, coordinate with vendors, and drive preventative maintenance to protect assets.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, a strong safety mindset, and a commitment to resident satisfaction in a dynamic apartment community. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical)
• Valid Driver's License
• EPA certification
• CPO Certification highly preferred
• In some states this may be required

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise the daily work of the maintenance team.
• Foster a culture of excellence, integrity and service.
• Supervise vendor partners to ensure timely, safe, and standards-compliant work.
• Manage capital improvement projects: bids, scheduling, execution.
• Identify and resolve service needs throughout the community.
• Maintain quarterly preventative maintenance programs and move-in readiness checks.
