Job summary

UniFirst seeks a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment runs efficiently and to guide maintenance staff. The role requires supervising shifts, regulatory compliance, and budgeting alongside the Production Manager.

Qualified candidates will have a technical degree, 3+ years' repair experience in an industrial setting, and supervisory experience. Overtime and lifting up to 80 lbs are possible.

Qualifications

• High school or GED preferred and a related two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• 2+ years supervising maintenance personnel preferred and maintenance administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action from blueprints and manuals.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Manage budget with Production Manager for building, equipment, and parts/labor.
• Oversee safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance in the maintenance department.
