Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with maintenance management systems and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action using blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and catalogs.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facilities and production assets.
• Follow manuals and specs with a documented schedule.
• Manage maintenance workload and assignments across shifts.
• Oversee safety compliance within the maintenance department.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
