Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all facility equipment functions efficiently and to identify areas for process improvements. The role requires overseeing maintenance staff, planning preventive maintenance, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with on-job training provided.

The position follows a standard Monday–Friday week with periodic overtime. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a 2-year technical degree preferred, and at least 3 years

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints, schematics and repair manuals.
• Experience with maintaining industrial processing equipment in production environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic maintenance administration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform maintenance on facility and production assets, following blueprints and manuals.
• Manage and assign equipment maintenance and schedule preventive tasks.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance within the maintenance department.
