Job summary
Mondelēz International is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Chicago to lead TPM-focused maintenance, drive continuous improvement, and manage a team of mechanics and electricians. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduling, and backlog while coordinating with unions, planners, and the asset reliability team.
The role requires 3+ years as a Maintenance Supervisor, mechanical/electrical knowledge, and experience with SAP/CMMS.
Qualifications
- GED/High School diploma required; bachelor’s preferred.
- Knowledge in TPM, Lean Manufacturing or Reliability Engineering is a plus.
- Mechatronics: mechanical and electrical knowledge; bakery experience preferred; 3+ years Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Lead TPM-focused maintenance program and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage mechanics and electricians via Daily Management System.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, scheduling and backlog.
- Manage hiring and onboarding of maintenance staff with union stewards.
- Coordinate outages and safety/quality audits.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and parts procurement with asset reliability team.
