Avanath Capital is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Portland, OR to lead maintenance staff across multifamily communities, delivering exceptional resident service. The role emphasizes safety, vendor management, and proactive maintenance for quality housing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of multifamily maintenance, 1 year of supervisory experience, and strong HVAC/plumbing/electrical/carpentry skills, with HVAC and CPO certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely, quality service.
• Manage resident relations and ensure safety and compliance with policies.
• plan and oversee preventive maintenance and inspections of units and grounds.
• Maintain inventory, budget adherence, and cost-control efforts.
• Coordinate work orders and respond to emergencies during on-call rotations.
• Ensure proper safety practices and OSHA compliance across the property.
