Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across our multifamily properties in Portland. You will partner with the Community Manager to ensure timely service, quality move-ins, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, supervisory experience, and HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills with relevant certifications. A valid driver's license is essential and on‑call weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
One year of supervisory experience required.
HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry proficiency required.
HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates strong resident relations and customer service by addressing resident needs and prioritizing work orders.
Oversees maintenance staff and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and curb appeal across the community.
Coordinates, schedules, and responds to work orders and preventive maintenance activities.
Enforces community policies and safety standards and manages inventory within budget guidelines.
