Job summary

Avanath Capital seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff and deliver exceptional service to residents at our communities. The role collaborates with the Community Manager to supervise staff and vendors, ensuring safety, quality, and timely repairs.

The ideal candidate has multi-family maintenance experience, strong organizational and customer service skills, and on-call availability. HVAC and related certifications are highly valued. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Three years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Availability for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary resident relations and customer service; respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Maintain curb appeal and quality move-ins; ensure timely service and safety standards.
• Oversee maintenance staff and vendors to ensure compliance with policies and budgets.
• Plan preventive maintenance and manage inventory, safety programs, and records.
• Schedule, supervise, and train maintenance personnel; monitor work progress daily.
