Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff and coordinate vendor activities at our communities, delivering quality move-in, timely service, and strong curb appeal. The role partners with the Community Manager to ensure safety, budget adherence, and excellent resident relations, while overseeing on-call emergencies and weekend work.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of multifamily maintenance, 1 year of supervision, and HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry expertise;

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent resident relations and timely service responses.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and respond to resident requests.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify hazards.
• Manage maintenance inventory and stay within budget.
• Ensure safety compliance and OSHA standards.
