Job summary

Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across community buildings, grounds, and common areas. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure facilities meet safety and quality standards.

You will manage the make-ready process for vacant units, supervise vendor work, maintain inventory, and support budgeting for repairs and capital projects, while following safety policies and Greystar guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related maintenance experience.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs per safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests by diagnosing and repairing issues.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units, inspections, scheduling vendors.
• Maintain community grounds, exteriors, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
