Job summary

Windward Communities - Spring Lake is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Stevensville, MI community. You will oversee routine and preventative maintenance, manage a team, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and curb appeal across common areas and facilities.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2+ years of maintenance or grounds experience; a valid driver's license is required. On-site work with seasonal outdoor duties and occasional on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of grounds and maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and automobile insurance.
• General maintenance techniques and repair work knowledge.
• Ability to endure seasonal outdoor work.
• General knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power equipment and machinery.
• Ability to write legible reports.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer skills, especially email and internet.
• On-call availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Handles coordination with vendors and contractors on projects.
• Supervises maintenance staff on day-to-day tasks and special projects.
• Keeps community presentable and adheres to curb appeal standards.
• Maintains common areas, lawns, and outdoor spaces; seasonal tasks.
• Performs minor repairs on rental homes and facilities.
• Cleans clubhouse, offices, restrooms, and maintenance areas.
• Inspects playgrounds, pools, and recreational amenities.
• Performs snow removal and on-site maintenance duties.
• Adheres to safety procedures and operates vehicles as needed.
• Assists with oversight of service contractors.
