Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team and ensure the reliability of stamping facility infrastructure in Pontiac, MI. You will plan preventive maintenance, manage vendor relationships, and drive TPM practices to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires hands-on maintenance leadership, strong technical knowledge of building systems, and experience supervising represented workforces within a union environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial facility.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience managing maintenance personnel in a represented workforce.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, motors/pumps, piping, electrical, and general building repair.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate across diverse audiences.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with demonstrated progression in maintenance and leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Mechanical and Electrical Tradesmen within the union framework.
• Manage vendor relationships with OEMs and service providers, ensuring compliant service delivery.
• Oversee work order management and prioritize preventive maintenance and repairs to meet KPI metrics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical control systems on critical equipment.
• Coordinate safety initiatives, incident reporting, and on-time shutdown planning.
• Support TPM initiatives and drive continuous improvement in maintenance metrics.
• Promote safety and lead pre-task planning and near-miss reporting.
