Job summary

Sibelco Delavan is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and drive reliability across plant equipment. You will troubleshoot complex systems and ensure work orders are properly closed in SAP, while coordinating technicians and contractors to keep critical assets running safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, root-cause analysis, and adherence to safety standards within a permanent, on-site setting at our Delavan facility in Wisconsin.

Job Description:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems
• Ensure maintenance work orders are accurate, prioritized, and properly closed in SAP
• Manage the plant preventive maintenance program.
• Function as hands on lead mechanic to trouble shoot and repair equipment.
• Perform basic electrical trouble shooting skills.
• Train plant personnel to perform basic maintenance.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance checks as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate internal technicians and third-party contractors
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive & corrective maintenance
• Step in and support critical or high-impact maintenance activities
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
• Enforce Sibelco’s safety standards and lifesaving rules
• Lead safe work practices including LOTO, LMRA, and SOP compliance
