Job description

SUMMARY

Ensure uninterrupted operation of facility, manufacturing, and support systems and processes throughout the facility.

SHIFT

Monday - Friday: 2:30pm - 11pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Represent the company as a management team member, promoting Safety, Quality, and Productivity in a food manufacturing environment.
2. Review and improve the efficiencies of manufacturing and support systems across the facility; make recommendations and implement necessary improvements.
3. Coach team members in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of plant systems.
4. Supervise team members' overall job performance, including proficiency, adherence to company rules, policies, and professional standards.
5. Support and promote the professional development of team members.
6. Support, monitor, and expand Preventive/Predictive Maintenance for all facility systems and machinery.
7. Utilize the CMMS system for work orders, purchase orders, inventory control, and equipment history.
8. Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including network issues related to PCs, PLCs, and man-machine interfaces.
9. Apply advanced troubleshooting skills for electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, variable speed controllers, servo controllers, and robotics.
10. Possess thorough knowledge of troubleshooting automated packaging machinery.
11. Troubleshoot various process equipment such as pumps, valves, meters, and mixers.
12. Apply working knowledge in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
13. Troubleshoot facility support systems including steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration.
14. Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
