You will lead a cross-functional team of 25–50 operators, technicians, and leads with a hands-on leadership style. The ideal candidate is a floor-centric problem solver with an ownership mindset—someone who makes real-time decisions, enables team accountability, and drives daily performance through lean discipline and data-driven execution.

  • Drive production to meet customer takt time while ensuring resource alignment and labor optimization.
  • Conduct Tier 1 and Tier 2 daily management meetings to review performance, identify bottlenecks, and deploy fast countermeasures.

  • Build a culture of high performance through coaching, feedback, and standard work adherence.
  • Maintain and manage skill matrices, job rotations, and cross-training to enable team flexibility and readiness.
  • Champion continuous learning through structured on-the-job training and mentorship.
  • Enforce process discipline and adherence to visual management, 6S, safety, Quality and manufacturing policies and standards.
  • Lead root cause problem-solving using A3, 5-Whys, or 8D methods to eliminate repeat issues.
  • Deploy Lean Manufacturing tools such as SMED, Poka-Yoke, TPM, and Gemba Walks to reduce waste and improve flow.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Own shift-level KPIs and reporting, including downtime analysis, labor tracking, and first pass yield.
  • Escalate and resolve equipment, material, or manpower issues using structured escalation protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing systems; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred (Green or Black Belt).
  • Continuous Improvement mindset; experienced in driving process improvements and supply chain optimizations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
