Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage maintenance operations at our Illinois facility. You will oversee maintenance staff, coordinate with vendors, and drive safety, quality, and productivity in support of production goals.

Responsibilities include implementing policies, ensuring proper use of equipment, and guiding continuous improvement projects to meet cost objectives and operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing/operations experience or completion of Sherwin-Williams Development Program in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations.
• Implement operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure safe and efficient use of tools and equipment.
• Monitor quality and productivity to meet service and cost objectives.
• Plan daily work schedules by coordinating with vendors and internal departments.
• Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Conduct regular workforce meetings to enhance BMS and Operational Excellence.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
