Job summary

SIMPLY STAFFED is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Illinois plant. You will lead maintenance teams in installing, repairing, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment across plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse.

You will ensure production lines run at peak, drive KPIs, and support USDA compliance. Responsibilities include training, scheduling, developing preventive/predictive maintenance systems, and providing status reports to management.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading training, coaching, or mentoring of staff or projects.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for high-level process issues.
• Food manufacturing background preferred; ammonia refrigeration experience desired.
• Strong electro-mechanical skills and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
• Supervise maintenance systems, processes, and documentation for high performance.
