Job summary

AAMCI in Union City, PA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a residential property to oversee preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and on-call coverage with premium pay for after-hours calls. The role ensures reliable housing for income-qualified residents.

The supervisor will diagnose mechanical problems, install and repair wiring, plumbing, machinery, and equipment, and manage work orders and parts. Strong safety focus and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA certification required.
• Ability to adhere to safety programs and standards.
• Physical ability to perform lifting, climbing, standing, bending, and outdoor work in inclement weather.

Maintenance Supervisor

The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents.

This position participates in on-call emergency for evening, weekends, and Holidays, and pays a premium rate of pay for each call out. Pay for this position is $26.44 per hour

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical problems
• Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components
• Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drill, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
• Complete work orders
• Order parts as necessary
• Recording type and cost of repair work

Qualifications necessary for success:

• HVAC/EPA Certified
• Ability to adhere to work safety program
• Ability to perform all duties including but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading, unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather
