Job summary

aamci seeks a Maintenance Supervisor I to join our on-site team. The role covers preventive maintenance, diagnostics, wiring and plumbing work, and completing work orders. You will also manage parts orders, and keep detailed records of repairs and costs.

The position includes on-call responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and holidays, with premium pay. Benefits and retirement plans accompany this role.

• Lift, climb, stand, bend; work outdoors in weather.

Maintenance Supervisor I

The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents.

This position participates in on-call emergency for evening, weekends, and Holidays, and pays a premium rate of pay for each call out. Pay range for this position is $21-$23 depending on experience

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical problems
• Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components
• Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drill, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
• Complete work orders
• Order parts as necessary
• Recording type and cost of repair work

Qualifications necessary for success:

• HVAC/EPA Certified
• Ability to adhere to work safety program
• Ability to perform all duties including but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading, unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather
