Mural Group is partnering with a global industrial manufacturer at their processing facility in Millington, Tennessee to place a Maintenance Supervisor. This is a direct hire role reporting to the Maintenance Manager and involves leading a team of maintenance technicians in a heavy industrial, chemical processing environment.

The ideal candidate is firm, accountable, and committed to developing their team while ensuring PM compliance and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians; manage performance and conduct reviews.
• Own the preventive maintenance program: set schedules and monitor completion.
• Manage maintenance budget and costs; identify cost reductions.
• Enter and close work orders in SAP; maintain PM documentation and compliance records.
• Manage contractors and vendors for maintenance work.
• Develop technicians through coaching and cross-training.

Maintenance Supervisor | Millington, TN | Direct Hire

Overview

Mural Group is partnering with a global industrial manufacturer at their processing facility in Millington, Tennessee to place a Maintenance Supervisor. This is a direct hire role reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

You will supervise a team of maintenance technicians in a heavy industrial, chemical processing environment. This role is as much about people development as technical execution. The ideal candidate is firm, accountable, and genuinely invested in making their team better. If your approach to underperformance is to avoid the conversation or go straight to termination without coaching, this is not the right environment.

Schedule

Days. On-site in Millington, Tennessee.

Compensation

$80,000 to $100,000 salary.

What you will do

• Supervise mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians; manage performance, conduct reviews, and handle progressive discipline conversations directly and fairly
• Own the preventive maintenance program: set schedules, monitor completion, and hold the team accountable to PM compliance
• Manage maintenance budget and track costs; identify cost reduction opportunities
• Enter and close work orders in SAP; maintain PM documentation and compliance records
• Manage contractors and vendors for supplemental maintenance work
• Develop technicians through coaching, cross-training, and performance feedback

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of maintenance supervision in a heavy industrial environment
• Coaching-oriented leadership style: firm but not abrupt, with a track record of developing people through accountability conversations, not just directing them
• Hands-on experience owning and managing a preventive maintenance program
• Budget tracking and cost management experience
• SAP or CMMS experience for work order management
• Mechanical and/or electrical background in your own technician history is a plus
