Job summary

MOHR Talent in Hamilton, OH is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the truck garage operations. You will supervise the maintenance team, schedule work to minimize downtime, and ensure preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and related equipment are performed to keep our fleet in peak condition.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, experience with diesel and heavy equipment, and familiarity with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong mechanical, diesel, truck, or heavy-equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Previous supervisory or lead maintenance experience preferred.
• Truck, automotive, diesel, or heavy-equipment maintenance experience required.
• Automotive or truck diagnostic and brake repair experience required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations for commercial motor vehicles and fleet maintenance.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred; additional mechanical or safety certifications a plus.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and flexibility to work weekends or additional hours as needed.

• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance team members.
• Ensure compliance with company safety requirements and applicable DOT regulations.
• Coordinate parts, materials, inventory, and outside vendors as needed.
• Perform and oversee hands-on repairs, including diagnostics, brake and tire work, and engine troubleshooting.
