MOHR Talent in Franklin, Ohio, is seeking a hands-on Diesel Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead its truck-maintenance operation. This working-leader role keeps a busy fleet of commercial trucks, trailers, and related equipment safe, reliable, and ready for service.

The ideal candidate combines strong diesel-maintenance and diagnostic experience with the ability to lead technicians, set repair priorities, and step into hands-on mechanical work when needed.

Qualifications

  • Commercial truck, diesel, fleet, or heavy-equipment maintenance experience.
  • Strong hands-on diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Direct brake-repair experience, preferably including commercial air-brake systems.
  • Leadership experience as a maintenance supervisor, shop foreman, lead diesel technician, or senior mechanic responsible for directing work.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance, commercial-vehicle inspections, work orders, and service documentation.
  • Ability to organize competing priorities while remaining actively involved in repairs.
  • Strong communication, judgment, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to safely use standard mechanical tools and equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, or additional hours when operational needs require.

  • Communicate equipment status, major repairs, downtime, and maintenance priorities to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop while reinforcing company and DOT compliance requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

What We Are Looking For

Commercial truck, diesel, fleet, or heavy-equipment maintenance experience.

Strong hands-on diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

Experience with fleet-maintenance software, preventive-maintenance scheduling, parts inventory, and outside repair vendors.
