Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Lead in Springboro, OH for an in-person, full-time role. You will lead the garage maintenance team, assign work, and oversee diagnostics and repairs to keep the fleet ready and minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on diesel and heavy-equipment experience, supervisory background, and familiarity with DOT regulations; EPA certification is a plus. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong mechanical, diesel, truck, or heavy-equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Previous supervisory or lead maintenance experience preferred.
• Truck, automotive, diesel, or heavy-equipment maintenance experience required.
• Automotive or truck diagnostic and brake repair experience required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations for commercial motor vehicles and fleet maintenance.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred; additional mechanical or safety certifications a plus.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and flexibility to work weekends or additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and direct the garage maintenance team
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor maintenance and repair work to support fleet readiness and minimize downtime
• Oversee preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections for trucks, trailers, and related equipment
• Ensure service tickets and maintenance records are accurate, complete, and timely
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance team members
• Ensure compliance with company safety requirements and applicable DOT regulations
• Coordinate parts, materials, inventory, and outside vendors as needed
• Perform and oversee hands-on repairs, including diagnostics, brake and tire work, and engine troubleshooting
