Job summary

LR Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to partner with the Property Manager to ensure safety, maintenance, and equipment needs across the community. The role requires hands-on expertise across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs, with strong leadership to drive timely project completion.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years in a similar role, EPA certification, and experience with Yardi.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years minimum experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Technician in a multi-family apartment setting or equivalent industry.
• HVAC and EPA Certification
• Experience with Yardi
• Experience in estimating maintenance and repair timelines and costs associated with projects
• The ability to set goals and create a plan to accomplish them

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, changing locks and cutting keys, make ready punch lists, carpentry, landscaping, and general curb appeal
• Ordering supplies for inventory
• Scheduling projects in vacant apartments ahead of time to get work completed in a timely manner
• Managing large capital projects including bidding, supervising contractors and sub-contractors, and reviewing completed work
• Communicating with vendors and staff to resolve any issues

The Maintenance Supervisor's primary responsibility is to work with the Property Manager to ensure and coordinate the safety, maintenance, and equipment needs of the property, along with overall requirements of the community.
