LR Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Michigan to support the Property Manager in safety, maintenance, and equipment needs for the community. The role involves coordinating projects, managing capital work, and ensuring timely completion while maintaining curb appeal.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years minimum experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (preferred) or Technician in a multi-family apartment setting or equivalent industry.
• HVAC and EPA Certification.
• Experience with Yardi.
• Experience in estimating maintenance and repair timelines and costs associated with projects.
• The ability to set goals and create a plan to accomplish them.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, changing locks and cutting keys, make ready punch lists, carpentry, landscaping, and general curb appeal.
• Ordering supplies for inventory.
• Scheduling projects in vacant apartments ahead of time to get work completed in a timely manner.
• Managing large capital projects including bidding, supervising contractors and sub-contractors, and reviewing completed work.
• Communicating with vendors and staff to resolve any issues.

The Maintenance Supervisor's primary responsibility is to work with the Property Manager to ensure and coordinate the safety, maintenance, and equipment needs of the property, along with overall requirements of the community.
