Job summary

LR Management Services in Michigan is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with apartment maintenance experience to join our growing team. You will perform full maintenance on apartments, respond to resident service requests, and support common areas with carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.

A valid driver’s license, 1–3 years of experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Performing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Maintaining inventory for parts and keeping the work area organized.
• Assisting in maintenance of common areas and exterior grounds.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasksPerforming preventative maintenance tasks
• Conducting move in/move out inspections
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property’s indoor common areas
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing

Qualifications Include, But Are Not Limited To
