Job summary

Greco Properties is seeking a maintenance professional to uphold outdoor spaces and in-unit comfort across our properties in Minnesota. The role emphasizes grounds care, painting, repairs, and turnover tasks to ready apartments for new residents.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Grounds & curb appeal: maintain outdoor spaces to keep the property looking its best.
• Flower & plant maintenance including watering, weeding and seasonal upkeep.
• Trash & recycling management and proper sorting.
• Garage maintenance: keep parking areas clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Respond to work orders, diagnose and repair issues efficiently.
• Repair in-unit and common area appliances as needed.
• Perform painting and turnover maintenance for new residents.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Perform snow and ice removal from sidewalks, walkways and parking areas.
• Purchase/collect approved parts and materials; coordinate with painters, carpet installers, and contractors.
• Support the team with additional duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Grounds & Curb Appeal – Maintain clean and well-kept outdoor spaces, ensuring the property always looks its best.
• Flower & Plant Maintenance – Care for landscaping, including watering, weeding, and seasonal upkeep.
• Trash & Recycling – Manage waste disposal areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper sorting.
• Garage Maintenance – Keep parking areas clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Work Orders – Respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnosing and repairing issues efficiently.
• Appliance Repair – Troubleshoot and repair in-unit and common area appliances.
• Painting – Perform touch-ups and full-unit painting as needed.
• Turnover Maintenance – Prepare apartments for new residents, including repairs, cleaning, and inspections.
• HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical – Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs in these areas.
• Preventative Maintenance – Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
• Perform snow and ice removal - snow blowing, shoveling, salting, and chipping ice build-up on sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, roofs, and common spaces.
• Purchase and pick up approved parts and materials needed to perform maintenance duties.
• Coordinate with the schedules of painters, carpet installers, and other contractors as necessary.
• Other Duties as Assigned – Support the team with additional tasks to ensure smooth property operation.

Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Organized self-starter and motivated, with strong work ethic, excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential to effectively serve residents, vendors, and team members during scheduled work hours.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required
• Extended hours for turnover work may be necessary

Compensation & Benefits:
