Job summary

Chemours, Chambers Works Plant in Deepwater, NJ, seeks a Maintenance First Line Supervisor to lead the area maintenance team and drive reliability. The role reports to the Maintenance Area Manager and focuses on coaching, training, and safety performance to meet business priorities.

The position requires strong supervisory skills, Lean practices, and experience with SAP and MS Office. Occasional nights/weekends and on-call work are possible in this 24/7 facility.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/detail supervisory experience or strong leadership experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and participate on teams.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP & Microsoft Office.
• Implementation of Lean Practices (5S).
• Participation on a Six Sigma Team.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Area Mechanics; act as line leader.
• Lead training by conducting job cycle checks per Central Maintenance Plans.
• Improve area EHS performance through coaching and standards.
• Participate in incident investigations and process hazard reviews.
• Implement preventative and predictive maintenance based on reliability data.
• Support uptime and cost improvements and align with site priorities.
