Job summary

The Chemours Company in Deepwater, NJ is seeking a Maintenance First Line Supervisor to lead area mechanics and drive maintenance excellence. You will coach teams, implement training per plan, and align maintenance with site priorities while ensuring safety and reliability across 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, preventive/predictive maintenance, and KPI tracking. Strong leadership, Lean/5S experience, and SAP/MS Office skills are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Supervisory or lead experience demonstrated in field settings.
• Ability to work independently and influence others to implement changes.
• Lead teams, set standards, and drive safety, quality and performance.
• Comfort with structured problem solving and Lean practices (5S).
• Experience with SAP and MS Office tools for reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as coach and mentor, and line leader for the Area Mechanics.
• Lead training by conducting job cycle checks per Central Maintenance Training Plans.
• Improve EHS performance via coaching and standards reinforcement.
• Participate in or lead area incident investigations and hazard reviews.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance based on reliability data.
• Assist in driving uptime and cost improvements for the area.
• Coordinate maintenance workforce across areas per priorities and schedule.
• Promote continuous self-development and skill retooling.
• Track KPIs to ensure target performance and cost goals are met.
• Be prepared for 24/7 facility operations, including nights/weekends.
