Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Service Manager to lead maintenance operations across our communities. You will oversee a skilled team, ensure repairs and preventive maintenance meet standards, and deliver exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred.
• One-year certificate or 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire and train new team members.
• Develop and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians through diagnosing problems and providing a resolution.
• Mentor and guide maintenance technicians to increase their knowledge and skills.
• Provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliance repair.
• Establish and manage a 24-hour on-call schedule and be available for on-site emergencies.
• Collaborate with office staff to deliver exceptional service to residents.
• Manage inventory of maintenance materials.
• Establish preventive maintenance and work order schedules.
• Inspect community buildings and vacant units.
• Plan, assign and direct the maintenance team.
