Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan at the Lithia Springs location.

You will work with customers, ensure parts availability, and coordinate with vendors and district billing, while complying with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA requirements. This role reports to the Lithia Springs site and requires flexibility to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required
• At least 1 year of hands on mechanical experience required
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• 2 years of service department administration preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associates Degree, Technical School Degree, or Bachelors Degree preferred
• ASE certification preferred
• Prior experience with service scheduling programs and diagnostic programs preferred
• Understand and comply with Penske management instructions, guidelines and policies
• Willingness to travel, work at the Lithia Springs location, and pass background/drug screening

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans by considering customer needs, repairs, parts, technicians and hours.
• Communicate maintenance updates and schedule changes with customers.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and on-time outside work.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Carry out other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
