Job summary

Penske is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to schedule preventative maintenance requests, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan at the Lithia Springs, GA location.

The role reports to the Lithia Springs site and requires an emphasis on customer service, parts availability, and efficient planning to maximize productivity. Safety and attendance are essential, with travel requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of hands on mechanical experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 2+ years of service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates/Bachelors degree preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Experience with service scheduling and diagnostic programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans considering customer needs, repairs, parts, and technician availability.
• Communicate maintenance updates and billing or service issues with customers.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts availability for scheduled work.
• Hold outside vendors accountable for quality and schedule adherence.
• Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
