Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania invites applications for the Maintenance Repairman 2 role supporting Beaver County maintenance operations. You will perform skilled repair work on bridges, culverts, buildings and equipment, using tools and machinery in field and shop settings. Full-time schedule 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday; starting salary $41,506 with potential to $61,927 annually.

Valid PA Class C driver's license required. Location: Beaver County, PA.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or four years of experience in building and plant maintenance, with at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Responsibilities

• Structural Repair: Maintain and restore bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and related structures.
• Equipment Operation: Use construction tools and machinery to complete assigned tasks.
• Facility Maintenance: Perform repair and remodeling work for county buildings and work areas.
• Mechanical Work: Complete minor mechanical repairs on equipment in field and shop settings.
• Concrete Work: Build formwork and place concrete to extend the life of structures.
