Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services seeks a Maintenance Repairman 2 at South Mountain Restoration Center. You will work across plumbing, carpentry, electrical and other trades to keep the facility running smoothly for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include completing plumbing projects, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, installations and general upkeep across campus. A PA driver license is required and the role is full-time with day hours.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or equivalent.
• Four years of building and plant maintenance with multiple trades.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing projects: fixtures, pipe work, water/sewage systems.
• Multi-trade tasks: electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC as needed.
• Equipment: install, maintain and repair machines and systems.
• Grounds care: lawn maintenance and snow removal.
• Preventive records: maintain maintenance schedules/logs.
• Transport: drive trucks for supplies and people around campus.

Skills

Two years M/R 1 experience

Four years building/plant maintenance

Valid PA Driver's License
