Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, seeks a Maintenance Repairman 2 to perform skilled journey level work across multiple trades maintaining park buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or equivalent federal/government title.
• Four years of building and plant maintenance experience involving two of the trades (building, electrical, or mechanical).
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, welding, and mechanical tasks for park facilities.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and complete required reports and maintenance checks.
• Maintain turf, trails, roads, and landscaping through pruning, planting, mowing, and snow removal.
• Clean facilities, store tools properly, and assist with treatment plant operations and other tasks.
